N.O.A.A. predicted no precipitation overnight, and they were correct. The temperatures dipped into the low forties making it, once again, a good night for sleeping. There do not seem to be any more clouds than there were last night, but they do seem to have thinned out, and are now cirrus type.
For today N.O.A.A. forecasts light scattered showers, and with cloud cover forecast to be from the high seventy percent to the high eighty percent range (77%/82%/86%/87%) that is certainly possible. Of course, what I currently see outside is a great deal of sunshine with far less than 77% overcast. I guess we will need to see what happens here in Wilton, Maine.
My Weather Stick is frowning a little, pointing down, and with 86% relative humidity that is no surprise. All three of my electronic instruments are still forecasting rising barometric pressure, and indeed, at least my Weather Station's pressure has risen slightly since I started recording the data for this report. . The remote weather station is the only instrument forecasting a mix of fair and cloudy skies for today. So between N.O.A.A. and my instruments I am going to take a wild guess and call for some unsettled weather with a chance of some instability showers. You may get one, and then again you may not, it just depends on where you are, and where they are. Oh, by the way, expect it to be warm today. After all this is summer.

N.O.A.A. did the same thing with the temperature as they did with the relative humidity yesterday. They were on and off and on and off the recorded temperature. The only relative humidity they missed was at 05:00 hours. Overall they did not do badly, but they were not great either.
