Clouds Predominate The Morning Sky

Clouds appear to have been filtering in overnight. We did not have any precipitation, just as N.O.A.A. had predicted. It also remained warm and quite humid overnight, making it a bit less comfortable for sleeping. The sun could not be seen this morning at dawn because of the clouds to our east.
For today N.O.A.A. has an interesting forecast for our area of Wilton, Maine. They predict no precipitation until noontime, and then they predict severe weather for this afternoon. This could be an interesting weather ride. The cloud cover predicted by N.O.A.A. does not quite live up to their predominant weather forecast (51%/51%/50%/51%), and I am not sure how they arrive at that forecast. I find the sky mostly cloudy right now (06:55), and that is well above 50%.
My Weather Stick is not happy, in fact it is frowning (pointing down) in response to the 85% relative humidity. My electronic instruments are sending mixed signals. The Weather Station forecasts fair skies with continued rising barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure, and the remote weather station indicates cloudy skies with steady barometric pressure for the last 12 hours. I guess I could pick any of hem and stand a chance of being right. I suspect that the clouds will continue to thicken and lower today, and this afternoon may present the chance of scattered thunderstorms. N.O.A.A. suggests that we may see some hail. I hope not, since that would damage tomatoes planted outside. I guess that is the chance we take., We do need the rain though.

N.O.A.A. did fine forecasting the temperature. They were within five degrees at all four forecast points. They did not do quite as
well with the relative humidity. They missed the first two periods at 20:00 hours and 23:00 hours, then they hit the last two at
02:00 and 05:00 hours. Not one of their best showings, but not one of their worst either.
Forecast data for today.

Relative Humidity: 84%/53%/42%/44%
