A Nearly Perfect Day
We had some clouds during the day, but they did not provide any precipitation for the gardens. N.O.A.A. had that part of the forecast correct. There was quite a bit of wind, although my anemometer was not showing it. Apparently there was a spider web that was impinging on its operation. I finally sprayed it with a mixture of dish detergent and water, and it is once again operational.
The temperature was more spring like than summer like. It was a good day to work outside or play outside if that was your bent.
For tonight N.O.A.A. predicts no precipitation, and their cloud cover forecast supports that prediction (48%/46%/44%/46%). The NEXRAD radar and Weather Underground model forecast maps also indicate no precipitation overnight. My Weather Stick is smirking, a response to the 82% relative humidity. All of my electronic instruments forecast rising barometric pressure. The usual suspects forecast fair skies overnight, while the remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions. We will probably see some clouds overnight, but no precipitation, and cool temperatures. Another good night for sleeping, not a good
night for the gardens..
