What A Great Concert In Kingfield, Maine
We went to the Kingfield Pops Concert last night, and for that reason I am still working on these reports. The concert was great, and the fireworks display afterward was impressive.

The weather started mostly cloudy and windy, but by the time the concert started the wind had died down, and the sky cleared. This allowed the temperature to fall precipitously into the lower fifties by the end of it. The Kingfield Pops committee did an excellent job, as did the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. Their selection of music was right on target, including the final piece, Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" that included realistic sounding canon reports provided by shotguns fired into barrels. Awesome work!
For today N.O.A.A. is hoping for light scattered showers all day. We have not seen any ;yet and it is after noon. On the NEXRAD radar there are some very small cells in northern Maine, and they are headed south. The Weather Underground model forecast maps show the potential for some light showers between 15:00 hours and 18:00 hours, but I would not bank on them.
My Weather Stick smiles when the relative humidity is down in the 52% region, where it is now. My electronic instruments are once again in total disagreement. My Weather Station forecasts rising barometric pressure with fair skies. My Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure. Finally, the remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions with steady barometric pressure. I can take my pick, and probably be right. Right now the clouds seem to have moved in, the wind is moderate and the temperature is cool. I think this will continue, with some peek-a-boo sunshine as the day goes on.

N.O.A.A. got the temperature close enough for government work. They missed the middle of the overnight period forecasting the relative humidity. No further comment necessary.
