Another Cool, But Pleasant Day
July is starting out more like early June or late May. We certainly are not having the blistering heat one usually associates with July. This afternoon around 15:00 hours we has a very brief light shower. In fact if I had not been outside at the time I would not have known that the shower had gone through. However, it did match the criteria of a light scattered shower, so we must give N.O.A.A. the benefit of being correct on the predominant weather forecast. Mind you, we only had one.
For the overnight, N.O.A.A. has us close to an area of light scattered showers at 20:00 and no precipitation for the rest of the period. The cloud cover is forecast to increase through the overnight (51%/62%/72%/70%). That might indicate that we can actually expect to see some showers overnight. The NEXRAD radar still shows cells of precipitation north of us, and those appear to be moving south. There are more of them, and they are closer to us than they were this morning. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that tomorrow afternoon and early evening may hold more promise for showers than the overnight tonight.
My Weather Stick is smiling at the 68%f relative humidity. All three of my electronic instruments forecast rising barometric pressure. My Weather Station and Min/Max Thermometer are forecasting fair skies. The remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions. I think we will see cloudy conditions overnight, but no precipitation. I keep hoping that we will have some, but in vain I suspect, until Mother Nature decides to send it our way.

N.O.A.A. only missed the 08:00 hour data point for the temperature. The only relative humidity point they got correct was at 11:00 hours. Not one of their better outings.
