An Interesting Day?
There is an old Chinese Curse, "May You Live In Interesting Times!" Well, my times continue to get more interesting. I was unable to get my morning report finished because my computer decided to change all my data from the month that I save in a .dat file. So the data from the first of the month is now corrupted. It seems I have had more than my share of computer issues during the past couple of months. We did have a good day today, and that allowed me to get out and do a little bit of fishing. I did not catch anything I could bring home and cook, but I did catch several small perch and some chubs. It was fun, even though it was not productive.
For the overnight, N.O.A.A. predicts no precipitation, and the cloud cover supports that (48%/42%/35%/31%). There does not seem to be very much wind right now. From what I can tell on the NEXRAD radar there are no showers in the area. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicates that we will have a decent day tomorrow.
My Weather Stick is almost smiling, and with 87% relative humidity right now that is a bit of a surprise. At this relative humidity I would expect a deep frown. Two of the instruments forecast fair skies with rising barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts clouds with rising barometric pressure. The stars are out and the sky is clear. What more can I say? I think this will continue overnight, and even into tomorrow.
