By noon today the rain had stopped, and the clouds were beginning to break up. It looked like the stormy weather was over here in Wilton, Maine. Then, whole I took my friend to the airport in Portland the clouds moved back in to give us a bit more rain, if you can call almost a half an inch a bit. It must have been a significant shower. The N.W.S. called for rain all day, and they had that right.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. forecasts no rain at the beginning, the possibility of rain for the rest of the period. The NEXRAD radar does not show any precipitation west of us, and the Weather Underground model forecast maps show the storm moving out to sea.
My Weather Stick is still frowning as a result of the 92% relative humidity. I am not very happy with that either. My electronic instruments are confused. My Weather Station forecasts foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer calls for a mix of fair skies and cloudy conditions, but with the barometric pressure rising. Finally, the remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions with steady barometric pressure. I think the unsettled weather will persist, and while we may not have any rain, we may. As usual with conditions like this your chance for rain will depend on your location.

The N.W.S. is up to their old tricks. The forecast the temperature correctly at the beginning of the day and missed the second half. Then they missed all four of the relative humidity forecasts. Kudos for overnight and condemnation for today. Shame, shame.
