Nice Morning For A Bike Ride!

It was, and we did. We left my house, and just about 3 hours later arrived back there hot, tired and hungry. After lunch I got busy doing the necessary fundraising to be able to do the benefit ride for the Multiple Sclerosis bicycle ride this coming weekend. If anyone would like to help support me in this worthwhile effort you can donate at the following website: http://www.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR?px=2176654&pg=personal&fr_id=6170. I am riding this weekend on a bicycle for 150 miles to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. They do fund research into the causes and treatment of M.S. as well as helping people debilitated with the disease. To date the cause is unknown and the cure is still out of reach. The weather on the day did not quite match the N.W.S. prediction of light scattered showers, since we did not have any. It felt quite a bit warmer than the predictions said, and more humid as well, but that may have been because I was moving my bicycle at over 12 miles per hour. I just hope I can do that this weekend.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. forecasts the start with light scattered showers with that chance decreasing to no precipitation, and then fog from 02:00 on. There are no showers showing up on the local (Portland/Gray) radar, and the showers on the regional radar do not appear to be moving in our direction. The Weather Underground model forecast map does not indicate any showers overnight, but they do some for tomorrow afternoon.
My Weather Stick is smiling again, but I do not know why with the relative humidity at 88%. The same two electronic instruments are reading partly cloudy skies with a rising barometer as did so this morning. The remote weather station forecasts clouds with steady barometric pressure. With all this I see no reason to change my suspicions from this morning. I will call for a partly cloudy overnight with no rain, but some fog.

The N.W.S. did only missed the first temperature forecast at 08:00 hours. They only missed the last relative humidity forecast at 17:00 hours. Not one of their best showings, but not one of their worst either.
Forecast data for the overnight.
