?The End Of The Great Weather?

When I watched the weather on Friday (I do that sometime) the prognostication was for possible showers this morning and another stretch of great summer weather into midweek. How quickly things can change! It has remained cloudy overnight, and my front walk looks like there have been a few drops of rain early this morning. The sky this morning was overcast when I went out to check my Outdoor Wood Boiler. I also felt a couple of drops of rain while I was outside.
For today the N.W.S. forecasts clouds (76%/54%/31%/23%) and showers this morning tapering to no precipitation this afternoon. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate the same to be true, but it may last a bit longer into the afternoon than the N.W.S. forecasts. They also predict a rainy day on Wednesday. The NEXRAD regional radar and Portland/Gray "local" radar show a line of showers moving from the Northwest toward the Southeast with Wilton, Maine in their sights. As I look out of my window toward the west it seems to be getting darker.
My Weather Stick is frowning again as a result of the 90% relative humidity. All three of my electronic instruments predict falling barometric pressure, and indeed it has fallen overnight. Two of them predict foul weather today, and the remote weather station will only go as far as predicting cloudy conditions. Well, we cannot have rain without clouds. My guess is that we will see cloudy conditions through at least the mid-afternoon, with a very good chance of a localized shower. It may clear around mid-afternoon and get warm and more humid, so it may become a bit uncomfortable. I may go for a bike ride this morning despite the rain, just to keep my training up. The intensity of the rain will be the determining factor there.

Relative Humidity: 69%/78%//81%/88%//87%/91%//90%/90%

The N.W.S had the temperature correct for three of the four periods overnight. They missed the 20:00 hour point. They also missed the first two forecast points for the relative humidity, but got the last two. Hitting five out of eight forecast points is not bad. It is not good, but it is not bad either.
Forecast data for today.
Temperature: 66°F/76°F/80°F/78°F
Relative Humidity: 73%/50%/41%/42%
