There was a cool start to the day, but it was not uncomfortable. N.O.A.A. had predicted no rain for the overnight, and they were correct. I enjoyed getting my morning chores done and going for a bicycle ride late this morning. I did a 16 mile ride at 15.4 miles per hour. That is the best I have done this year. I am pleased. This afternoon I worked outside, and the wood mountain is growing, as you can see. I am almost done with the last load of wood that was delivered.

The Wood Mound Continues To Grow
For the overnight the N.W.S. is predicting no precipitation, but increasing cloud cover (31%/47%/63%/.63%). That may not bode well for tomorrow. There are no showers showing up on the Portland/Gray radar or the NEXRAD regional radar that would affect us overnight. The N.W.S. is threatening some rain or showers tomorrow afternoon. The Weather Underground model forecast maps are showing slightly less intensity in the storm system that is supposed to reach us tomorrow afternoon than they did earlier today or yesterday.
My Weather Stick points slightly up in response to the 78% relative humidity. My electronic instruments are still not in complete agreement. My Weather Station and Min/Max Thermometer are calling for rising barometric pressure, while the remote weather station sees it as remaining steady. The Weather Station is forecasting fair skies; the Min/Max Thermometer sees a mix of fair and cloudy skies, while the remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions. I could pick any of these and probably be right. I would suggest, since the sky was mostly cloudy, that we will probably see more than our fair share of clouds, with light winds and cool temperatures. Sleep well!

The N.W.S had the temperature correct for all four of the forecast periods today. They did miss the last two data points for the relative humidity today. They only missed two of the forecast point. Not too bad a result
