The sky Is Threatening This Morning.

Overnight the temperature in Wilton, Maine dropped into the low fifties, and the clouds seem to have moved in. Right now they are only cirrus, usually not a problem, but they do seem to be thickening and lowering. The temperature would be great, but I do not ride in the rain if I can help it. This morning I hope to finish splitting the last of the wood that I have cut to length, and then, maybe, take another bicycle ride.
For today the N.W.S. forecast calls for the cloud cover to slowly dissipate (62%/61%/59%/50%), but remain fairly heavy. That would support the other part of the forecast calling for light scattered showers around our area. The Portland//Gray N.W.S. radar is showing scattered showers all over the area, and so does the NEXRAD regional radar. They do seem to be headed toward our area of the state. The Weather Underground model forecast maps are also showing inclement weather for the area, and the apparent intensity has increased since last night. I am glad they continually update their information.
With the relative humidity at 89% my Weather Stick is frowning again. My electronic instruments are once again in total disarray, and could not agree less. My Weather Station forecasts clear skies with rising barometric pressure. My Min/Max Thermometer forecasts foul weather with falling barometric pressure. Finally, my remote weather station forecasts clouds with steady barometric pressure. I see cloudy skies outside, and with them a chance for showers and/or thundershowers. I find it difficult to get enthusiastic about working outside in the rain. I have plenty of indoor projects that require attention, so I will not be at a loss for activities while it rains.

Comparative data for the overnight.
Temperature:64°F/62.7°F//56°F/52.8°F//52°F/51.6°F//49°F/50.3°F
Relative Humidity: 54%/66%//69%/85%//77%/87%//96%/89%

The N.W.S had the temperature correct for all four of the forecast periods overnight. They did not forecast one point correctly for the relative humidity. I cannot even make a point that the more humid air moved in faster than they expected. Oh well, sometimes they just get it wrong.
Forecast data for today.
Temperature: 56°F/70°F/75°F/73°F
Relative Humidity: 80%/51%/45%/49%
