More Showers This Morning

As I stepped outside this morning just before 05:00 to add the Ashtrol to my Outdoor Wood Boiler and take my morning readings, it just started to rain again. By the time I started this report we had another 0.02 inches of rain. That is in addition to the two inches we had during the overnight. N.O.A.A. said we would have some more light scattered showers during the last period of the overnight, and they did get this one right.
For today the N.W.S. forecasts more light scattered showers for Wilton, Maine, and they expect them to taper off by this afternoon. Their cloud cover forecast (78%/71%/63%/51%) does not appear to take us out of the possibility of scattered showers, but it does seem to lessen it. The NEXRAD regional radar shows echoes from storms in our area, and they do not seem to be moving. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate that we can look for scattered showers this morning, with some possibility of clearing this afternoon.
My Weather Stick is frowning this morning again in response to the 91% relative humidity. Two of the electronic instruments forecast rain, and the remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions. All three of them are predicting that the barometric pressure will fall today. Since we have had some rain already this morning, and the sky is still cloudy, I would not be surprised to see some more rain during the morning. The weather may improve over the afternoon, but that remains to be seen.

The N.W.S had the temperature correct , within the five degree limit, for all four forecast points for the overnight. The only relative humidity point they had correct was at 05:00 hours this morning. They do not seem to be able to get the relative humidity right, no matter what they do.
