Anyone For Pea Soup?

If you have to be on the road early this morning, the fog is very thick, and Bullwinkle can hide very easily in the middle of the road. He tends to be a very immovable object when confronted with a car or pick-up truck. With the fog in place we have not had any frost here in Wilton, Maine. There may have been some in other areas where there are protected valleys in the highlands, but I have not had any reports of it. I am looking forward to finishing the last load of wood and moving on to other tasks..
For today the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation, but a slight increase in the cloud cover (15%/30%/24%/15%) ending with a return to this morning's levels. The ridge of high pressure shown on the Weather Underground model forecast map is still keeping the precipitation well south of us. That is also quite apparent on the NEXRAD radar, as well as the local, Portland/Gray, radar.
My Weather Stick is frowning, and with 88% relative humidity and fog, so am I. The electronic instruments are forecasting everything but precipitation. My Weather Station says we will have fair skies with rising barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts a mix of clear and cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure. Finally, the remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions with steady barometric pressure. I will go out on a limb and suggest that we are in for another delightful day. There may be some high thin clouds, but nothing that will prevent anyone from working, or playing, outside. It might be a little cool for swimming though.

Relative Humidity: 55%/77%//74%/86%//86%/87%//96%/88%

The N.W.S missed the actual temperature at 20:00 hours. They did get the other three points, however. The only point forecast correctly for the relative humidity was at 02:00 hours. They only forecast 50% of the points correctly. In any data set that is totally unacceptable.
Forecast data for today.

Relative Humidity: 83%/55%/38%/37%
