Now The Thunder Storms Have Arrived!

The N.W.S. said we would have light scattered showers all day. Well, we did not. It was hot, and it was humid, but I was able to get outside to do some more yard work. With the exception of mowing around the weed patch, the lawn is done. I think I may be able to get that done tomorrow. I will work on the garden for part of the day, and I will empty at least one stall during the rest of it.
N.O.A.A. forecast some severe weather for the 20:00 hour time period. Indeed we did have one heck of a thunder shower. We received 0.22 inches of rain, and at 20:03 we had a wind gust of 33.7 mph. The NEXRAD radar indicates that we are not done with the frontal line of showers yet, so expect a bit more as the night progresses. That is their forecast for the rest of the night, light scattered showers. They claim the cloud cover will decrease until 02:00 hours, and then bounce back up a bit (88%/76%/63%/71%).
My Weather Stick is frowning, and so am I at 86% relative humidity. My Weather Station forecasts improving conditions to partly cloudy skies with rising barometric pressure. The other two electronic instruments forecast foul weather with falling barometric pressure. I think the front will be moving through bringing us cooler, drier air and higher barometric pressure. That is based on the Weather Underground model forecast maps, and what I have seen of the frontal line on the NEXRAD regional radar. We will see how Wilton, Maine fares in the morning.

The N.W.S had the forecast temperature within five degrees of the actual temperature in Wilton, Maine for the first three periods. They missed the 17:00 hour data point. They had the first and last data points forecast correctly, but missed the 11:00 and 14:00 hour points. That is five out of eight points forecast correctly. I am glad I do not have to rely on their forecasts for my living.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 77°F/71°F/68°F/66°F
Relative Humidity: 79%/90%/93%/100%
