Just Another In A String Of Delightful Days!

I was all set to clean a couple of stalls today when I decided to check to see if I could acquire hay for the winter. I went to my regular supplier, and indeed he did have hay that I could procure. I estimate that I need 180 bales for the winter, based on previous use. The first 43 are now in my hay mow, stacked and ready for the winter. I still have 4 stalls to clean, but they will be OK for the present. By the way, as I was starting this last night I fell asleep at the computer, so it is a little late. The weather today was outstanding for any outdoor activity. It did get a little warm, but not terribly uncomfortable. N.O.A.A. did get the predominant weather correct, and the cloud cover as well. Nice job.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts fair weather for the first half, with light scattered showers for the second half. I did check the NEXRAD radar, and found some echoes well west of us, moving in a northeasterly direction. I am not sure that they will affect our area of Wilton, Maine. The Weather Underground model forecast maps do not indicate any precipitation until sometime tomorrow afternoon. We shall see who is right.
My Weather Stick is straight faced in response to the 78% relative humidity. The remote weather station and Min/Max Thermometer indicate unsettled weather with falling barometric pressure. My Weather Station forecasts foul weather with falling barometric pressure as well. I do not think we will have any rain, because there does not seem to be sufficient cloud cover to support it. I think it will be a bit warmer and more humid tonight than it has been, but not an altogether bad weather event.

The N.W.S had the forecast temperature within five degrees of the actual temperature in Wilton, Maine for all four periods today. Just as they correctly forecast the temperature they missed the relative humidity for three of the four points. The only one they got right was at 08:00 hours this morning. The relative humidity still eludes the forecasters at the National Weather Service.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 72°F/64°F/61°F/58°F
