Some Periods Of Rain Overnight.
We did have a little more rain overnight, but it did not add much to the total. When I checked the weather this morning it was still overcast, with stratus clouds. There was still some rain coming down, but it was very light, and did no register on the rain gauge. I guess from that, N.O.A.A. did have the predominant weather correct. The character of the clouds appears to be changing, and they are becoming stratocumulus in nature.
For today, the N.W.S. forecasts continued light scattered showers with a cloud cover to match (99%/96%/92%/88%). There are some light showers showing up on the NEXRAD regional composite radar, and some of them will probably pass through Wilton. We did need the rain, so I am not complaining. The Weather Underground model forecast maps also show some unsettled weather passing through Maine, so we can probably expect some more precipitation throughout the day. We can also expect the temperature to struggle to get out of the sixties today based on the N.W.S. forecast. With the cloud cover they are probably right.
My Weather Stick continues to frown in response to the 92% relative humidity. It is enough to make me frown as well. My Weather Station and the remote weather station both forecast fluctuating or unsettled weather with falling barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts foul weather with falling barometric pressure. My best guess for today is that we will probably see some periods of precipitation, but as the day wears on they will dissipate, and by the end of the day we well may see some clearing. I would not place bets on it, and it may just be wishes, but I can dream can I not?

The N.W.S had the forecast temperature within five degrees of the actual temperature in Wilton, Maine for all four of the periods overnight. Based on the fact that my weather station gets to a maximum of 96% relative humidity I have to call them correct on their forecast of that parameter. So, they did a pretty good job of forecasting for the overnight.
Forecast data for today.
