A Gray Morning With Some Light Fog.

It does appear that this period of unsettled weather will be with us for a while. Currently there is some light ground fog, so this is the third morning with fog this month. N.O.A.A. did forecast light scattered showers overnight, but I do not believe, either from the digital or analog rain gauge that we had anything. In this instance I would say that they missed this one for our area, although other areas may have picked up some precipitation.
For today, N.O.A.A. predicts a gray day with rain throughout. The cloud cover is expected to be at 100% through the whole day. There are showers and storms showing up on the regional NEXRAD radar which should impact us before long. Even the Weather Underground model forecast maps are showing significant rain for our area all day.
My Weather Stick is frowning again, and it almost feels like it is raining, but when I stepped outside it was not. It was just humid. My electronic instruments are showing the barometric pressure falling across the board. Two of them are calling for rain, while the remote weather station indicates cloudy conditions. I think we can expect intermittent periods of rain today, and based on the Weather Underground model forecast maps it could be heavy at times. Enjoy the respite from outside work, if you can. By the way the temperature will struggle to reach the mid-sixties, so dress a bit more warmly that you would have a month ago.

Relative Humidity: 90%/88%//96%/90%//100%/92%//100%/92%

The N.W.S had the forecast temperature within five degrees of the actual temperature in Wilton, Maine for all four of the periods overnight. They did not do quite as well with the relative humidity, however, based on the limitations of my weather station I would have to say that they were close enough to call them correct.
Forecast data for today.
Temperature: 58°F/60°F/61°F/61°F
Relative Humidity: 0%/0%/0%/0%

I do not believe the relative humidity forecast at all. I would believe 100% all day. I think someone hit the wrong button. They may blame the computer, but the computer does exactly what it is told to do. Sorry Folks!
