The rain has arrived, and according to the N.W.S. will be with us all day at some level. It is cool and raw this morning, and the rain is falling. I think the critters will stay in today, and that should make them happier than being wet.
N.O.A.A. has predicted that the rain which is now falling will decrease with time. The N.W.S. has forecast rain today, and we are indeed having it. The NEXRAD radar shows a considerable amount of rain yet to come through our area. The Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate the same, right up through tonight.
My Weather Stick is frowning, and so am I with the 89% relative humidity. All three of the electronic instruments forecast falling barometric pressure. Two of them call for rain and the remote weather station forecasts cloudy weather. Right now it is overcast and raining, and I think that will continue most of the day, and maybe into tonight.
