I finally turned out the lights up here at about 02:00 this morning. Needless to say I was a bit late rising. The fog was quite thick this morning when the lights went out, and there was still some at 08:00 when I got up. That appears to have protected the gardens for a second night. It may be possible to gather some tomatoes for processing this year, and some of the other crops may yet provide some food for the winter, into next spring. N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather essentially correct, but the fog may have been a bit more widespread than they forecast.
For today the N.W.S. expects to start with fog, and once that dissipates there should be no precipitation. The cloud cover is expected to be quite low starting at 5% and dropping to 0% for the rest of the day. There is still nothing showing up on either the Weather Underground model forecast maps or NEXRAD radar for precipitation for our area.
My Weather Stick continues to frown, and with the relative humidity at 80% I am not surprised. All three of my electronic instruments continue to forecast fair skies with rising barometric pressure. I am not sure how much higher it can get realistically. I think we are going to have another great day for outdoor work. I probably will not finish the wood, but I stand a chance of making quite a dent in it. I should be able to finish it tomorrow.

N.O.A.A. had the temperature forecast correct for all four of the forecast periods. They had the middle two points correct for the relative humidity. This was a better performance than they have been having lately.
