We had some early morning fog as I noted in the earlier report from this morning. That did keep us from dealing with frost. The sky was clear above the fog, and it did not take long before the sun was shining brightly on Wilton, Maine. It does appear that N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather correct for today. We had no precipitation, and minimal cloud cover. I did get started on the wood splitting.
For the overnight, the N.W.S. forecasts scattered fog, and we are included in that area. The cloud cover is expected to remain quite low (0%/6%/11%/0%). I was out to a meeting again, and that is why you are reading this now instead of last night. I did collect the data before shutting down, and the NEXRAD radar and Weather Underground model forecast maps are still showing no precipitation on our immediate horizon. I have heard rumors about later in the weekend though. By then we could probably use some precipitation.
My Weather Stick continues to frown in response to the high humidity. The electronic instruments are beginning to show some disagreement. The Weather Station forecasts fair skies with rising barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts mixed conditions with falling barometric pressure. Finally, the remote weather station concludes that fair skies will continue with rising barometric pressure.

N.O.A.A. had the last two temperature forecast points correct, and missed all four of the relative humidity forecast points. This was, once again,
