Once Again We Get To Work Outside In Comfort.
The temperature topped out at nearly eighty degrees here in Wilton, Maine today. Another fantastic day to be outside cleaning up the last of the wood from the last load. N.O.A.A. called for some fog early this morning, and they were right, with fair skies for the rest of the day, and they were correct there as well. When I knocked off work this afternoon I had 30 two foot pieces of wood left to split and 47 pieces less than that. I do not think I will have enough out of this load to complete the Shaker Circle that I started. Of Course there is enough in the big pile to finish it and probably do at least one more. Photos will follow when they are complete.
For the overnight, the N.W.S. forecasts fog throughout with a cloud cover reaching 50% (24%/37%/50%/50%). There is no precipitation predicted to accumulate tonight. The NEXRAD regional radar does not show anything but ground clutter at any of the reporting stations. The Weather Underground model forecast maps are indicating some foul weather tomorrow. That remains to be seen.
My Weather Stick frowns yet, and with 86% relative humidity who can blame it. My electronic instruments are currently in a state of confusion. My Weather Station calls for foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The other two instruments forecast mixed conditions with rising barometric pressure. I do not expect any rain overnight, but there may be some fog. I also expect the temperatures to remain a bit higher than they have been due to the fog that N.O.A.A. is calling for.

The N.W.S. did a complete turn-around, with the exception of the 02:00 hour relative humidity, and that was within 6% of the actual reading. That is quite a surprise.
