Light Fog, Followed By Light Drizzle

Overnight N.O.A.A. forecast fog. When I was out at 21:00 and 23:00 hours I did not see any, but this morning at 06:00 hours there was some light fog, and that has now turned to a light drizzle. I am not sure if that will result in any accumulation of precipitation, but if we get the promised rain later this morning it certainly will. The temperature did not fall out of the fifties overnight making it one last gasp of summer before the Autumnal Equinox.
For today, the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation through the forenoon, but light scattered showers this afternoon. There are some "storm type" echoes showing up on the Canadian side of the Great Lakes, and they may affect us later today, but it will be much later. The sky is currently overcast, and that flies in the face of the forecast (50%/55%/60%/68%). The drizzle we are currently having is in opposition to the N.W.S. forecast. The Weather Underground model forecast maps call for some foul weather this afternoon into this evening. I do not believe I will be splitting any wood this afternoon, and I have a meeting at noontime as well.
My Weather Stick (surprise of surprises) is frowning, and with fog and drizzle I am not surprised. Two of my electronic instruments forecast foul weather with falling barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts mixed conditions with steady barometric pressure. My guess is that we can expect some foul weather today before it is over. That will not bode well for the Common Ground Fair in Unity this weekend.

The N,W.S. did well yesterday, but they have fallen down again overnight. They missed the temperature forecast for the first two periods overnight, and all four of the relative humidity points. Not a real good showing for them. We will have to see how they do for today.
Forecast data for today.
