A Very Gray Day.
The light drizzle was all the precipitation we received today. It did remain overcast and gray all day though. N.O.A.A. did show the cloud cover as being in the mid-fifty to upper sixty percent range. I think it was substantially higher than that. I did have a meeting during the afternoon, and then I stopped in Freeport to see if I could find a couple of things. I did find one, so the trip was not a total loss.
For the overnight, the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation with the cloud cover dissipating to near zero (7%/7%/6%/9%) percent. There is still some rain showing up on the NEXRAD radar, but it is moving very slowly. I have some doubts as to whether it will arrive here or not. The Weather Underground model forecast maps still contend that we will get some rain out of this front.
My Weather Stick is frowning still, and it seems that it can do nothing else. All three of my electronic instruments forecast falling barometric pressure. Two of them predict foul weather while the remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions only. I am beginning to think it will be a while before we get any precipitation, and there will be some change in the predictions by morning.

The N,W.S. did well with today's temperature, but once again they have mis-forecast the relative humidity. They did not get one of the forecast periods correct for that parameter. Not a real good showing for them. We will have to see how they do for the overnight tonight.
