The Start Of Fall Was Not Very Fall Like

It was a gorgeous day for doing just about anything outside. N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather right, we had no rain. The temperatures were pleasant, and the humidity was quite low. We really have had some of the most delightful days of the summer over the last two weeks. I did get some more wood split today despite going to a meeting this afternoon. I think I only have about 50 pieces of wood left to split. That really should not take very long to get finished.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts no cloud cover and no precipitation. I disagree with the cloud cover forecast since there are some cirrus clouds, and it is partly cloudy this evening. There are no storms showing up on the NEXRAD radar, and the Weather Underground model forecast maps do not show any either.
My Weather Stick is smiling for the first time in quite a while. With a 50% relative humidity everyone should be smiling. My weather Station is calling for mixed conditions with rising barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts fair skies with rising barometric pressure. Finally, the remote weather station like the LaCrosse Weather station is calling for mixed conditions, but the barometric pressure is steady. My forecast is for a windy night with temperatures in the low forties and some partly cloudy skies. Other than that it should be a great night.

The N,W.S. was within the five degree limit that I set for the temperature for today. They also got both ends of the day correct for the relative humidity. They did miss the middle of the day. All together this was a pretty good job by the N.W.S.
Forecast data for the overnight.
