A Cool Day With A Lot Of Sunshine
The temperature never made it out of the mid-sixties today. There was no precipitation and the wind was fairly steady. We also had plenty of clouds overhead today. It was a pretty good day to work outside, and I did get a start on organizing my new load of wood for splitting and cutting.
For the overnight the N.W,.S. forecasts no precipitation for the first half and fog for the second half. There is also supposed to be almost 50% (48%) cloud cover, and that may provide enough blanket coverage to keep the frost at bay for another night. If you notice the forecast low is only 36°F.
My Weather Stick is frowning, but only slightly. All three of my electronic instruments forecast fair skies. Two of them are calling for the barometric pressure to continue to rise. The remote weather station forecasts steady barometric pressure. As high as it is I would believe that it might be becoming steady. I do not think we will have a frost tonight, but it will be close. Good luck on keeping the gardens going for another few nights.
