Another Great Fall Day, Bright With Fall Colors!
N.O.A.A. predicted that we would have no precipitation today, and they were right about that. It was a great day to be working outside, or in. It was dry, and the wind was a bit sharp, but a good day anyway.
For the overnight the N.W.S. is forecasting light scattered showers all night, and the cloud cover may support that (49%/100%/100%.80%). The NEXRAD radar does show some showers in the area, but they are widely scattered and moving in our direction,.
My Weather stick has not totally forgotten how to smile, although it is more of a smirk. My electronic instruments (the Weather Station and Min/Max Thermometer) say fair skies and rising barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts clouds and steady barometric pressure. I think things will continue to clear, that we will have no rain, and it will drop below freezing tonight. Cover the tender vegetation if you want to save it tonight. Otherwise be prepared to lose it.

The N,W.S. forecast the temperature correctly for three of the four periods. They missed the 11:00 hour point by 6.2 degrees. Their estimation of the relative humidity was correct only at 08:00 hours. They seem to be able to forecast the temperature most of the time, but they do not seem to be able to estimate the relative humidity at all/
