Did you here that whistling past your ear. That was the bullet that missed us. Here in Wilton, Maine we still have not had a frost. The combination of wind, cloud cover and air mass worked together to keep us above the freezing mark. As I recall, a general rule of thumb is for the trees to be stripped of their leaves by the end of the Fryeburg Fair. That fair ended yesterday, and thee are still plenty of leaves on the trees, and a great deal of color. N.O.A.A. had predicted mixed precipitation for our area overnight, but I do not find any precipitation other than heavy dew this morning. They missed that one.
For today, the forecast is for no precipitation, but significant cloud cover (51%/55%/59%/58%). The NEXRAD radar does not show any storm cells in our area, or moving toward us. The Weather Underground model forecast maps are also showing us in the clear today, and for the next couple of days.
My Weather Stick is still frowning slightly, and at 75% relative humidity I am not surprised. The electronic instruments do not seem to agree this morning. My Weather Station calls for fair skies with rising barometric pressure. My Min/Max Thermometer calls for a mix of clear and cloudy skies with falling barometric pressure. Finally, my remote weather station forecasts clouds with rising barometric pressure. What I can see outside right now are partly cloudy skies with the trees being blown quite a bit. I think a mix of sun and clouds is probably what we will have today, and temperatures in the low fifties.

The N,W.S. forecast the temperature correctly for three of the four forecast points. They missed the 23:00 hour point by about 8 degrees. The only relative humidity point they forecast correctly was at 05:00 hours this morning. Once again they did not have one of their stellar performances.
