The temperature barely made it into the low fifties today, and the cumulus clouds did move in this afternoon. The wind also remained quite active. N.O.A.A. predicted no precipitation, and a fairly significant cloud cover, so they were right about that. I am still rebuilding that file, and it looks like it will take a while to get it all done, so I have the records I need to go to the Wilton town office.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation for us, but they are calling for fog in the river valleys. Their estimate of the cloud cover may once again protect us from a frost (69%/81%/63%/49%). One of these days there will be no protection. There are some echoes showing up in the vicinity of the radar stations, but that may be ground clutter. The Weather Underground model forecast map also shows the area to be free of storms, at least for the next couple of days.
My Weather Stick shows no emotion due to the 68% relative humidity. That is the lowest I have seen when taking a reading in quite a while. Two of my electronic instruments are calling for fair skies with rising barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts cloudy skies with steady barometric pressure. I think we will see some clouds overnight, and we will not have any precipitation or frost. I know I am going out on a limb there.

The N,W.S. forecast the temperature correctly for all the four forecast points. They missed all but the 08:00 hour point for the relative humidity. Once again they did not have one of their stellar performances.
