A Fine Day Once The Rain Stopped.

Early this morning, after I did my morning report, the raid did stop. The sun came out and the line of storms moved off to the east. I probably should have photographed the storm leaving, but I did not. Once the sun made its appearance the temperature warmed up quickly. It did turn out to be a beautiful day. The N.O.A.A., call was for light scattered showers all day. The only time we had them here was during the 08:00 to 11:00 hour period. I would, therefore, call N.O.A.A. wrong on their predominant weather forecast and cloud cover forecast.
For today the N.W.S. forecast light scattered showers for the first half of the day with those tapering to no precipitation for the second hall. That latter part was right, but the former was not. The NEXRAD regional radar shows all the storm echoes are gone from the area. Even the Weather Underground model forecast maps are showing that we are into much clearer air for this evening and tomorrow. We can stand that.
My Weather Stick is still frowning due to the 85% relative humidity this evening. All of the electronic instruments currently forecast rising barometric pressure, but that is as far as the agreement goes. My Weather Station forecasts partly cloudy skies, while the Min/Max thermometer sees fair skies. The remote weather station now can see only clouds for the overnight. My best guess is that we will see partly cloudy skies, warmer than usual temperatures and light winds. This should be a nice night.

The N,W.S. forecast the temperature correctly for the entire day. Now that is unusual lately. The relative humidity forecast was right, wrong, right and wrong. I guess there is nothing more to say here since the numbers speak for themselves.
Forecast data for the overnight.
