A Fine, Clear Day Coming Up!

Good Morning, and it is. It is Sunday, and the Sun is starting the day bright and the sky is clear. The temperature overnight did not seem to reach the Dewpoint. Last night, when I took Ike out for his last exercise, there was some dew on the grass, but this morning the grass was dry. I think the wind, as well as the lower relative humidity had a hand in that. N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather wrong for the first half of the overnight since there were no apparent showers around wither visibly or on the NEXRAD radar. We even had our low temperature before 23:00 last night.
For today, the N.W.S. is forecasting no precipitation, and the cloud cover continuing to decrease (16%/12%/8%/4%). The NEXRAD regional radar currently shows no echoes of note anywhere in the region. There might have been a couple over the crown of Maine, but they were very small and isolated. The only ones that would have noticed would have bee the deer, moose and birds. The Weather Underground model forecast maps continue to indicate clear skies over us for today.
My Weather Stick is smiling a little, and with 62% relative humidity I am smiling too. All three of my electronic weather instruments currently forecast rising barometric pressure. Two of them forecast clear skies. The remote weather station either has not gotten the word, or, because the sensor is in the barn, forecasts cloudy skies. I suspect the latter. As I have been writing this report I have watched the clouds dry up in the western sky. I will suggest that the clouds will continue to dissipate, and we will have a delightful day to do anything outside, particularly since we will not be bothered by black flies or mosquitoes. Have a nice day!

Wind-Chill (°F): N/A

Comparative data for the overnight.
Temperature:57°F/53.4°F//52°F/48.9°F//51°F/54.8°F//49°F/56.4°F
Relative Humidity: 75%/74%//86%/86%//86%/72%//89%/62%

The N,W.S. forecast the temperature correctly for the three of the four forecast periods overnight. They missed the 05:00 hour point. Their forecast of the relative humidity was very accurate for the first half of the overnight and significantly off for the second half. Oh well, I guess half a loaf is better than none.
Forecast data for today.
Temperature: 51°F/60°F/66°F/65°F
Relative Humidity: 77%/55%/43%/48%

Hi Jeffrey............
We are moving to the area from Washington State in a few months. Hoping you can educate me. What are the forecast point times? What does your weather stick tell you?
thanks,
Jennifer
