Another Change In The Atmosphere

Now Our Friend The Maple Is Naked As A Jay Bird
I have been following the tree above all season long, and now there is no longer a need to do so. It is now prepared for winter, so bring it on.
N.O.A.A. correctly forecast the predominant weather (we had no precipitation) for Wilton, Maine. The sun was out most of the day and the temperatures were quite pleasant in the low sixties. I was able to get a few things done before I went to a meeting in Solon. That was pleasant too.
For the overnight, the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation for the first half of the period and possibly fog for the second. The cloud cover is forecast to be very low (1%/6%/10%/15%) and that would support the predominant weather forecast. There are no real echoes on the NEXRAD regional radar. The Weather Underground model forecast maps snow no storms overnight tonight, but Saturday does not look like it is going to be a day for getting outside to hunt or work on the woodpile.
My Weather Stick is neither smiling nor frowning, I guess it is expressionless. The relative humidity is 82% which is a little higher than I would have expected for it to be straight. All three of my electronic instruments forecast fair skies and rising barometric pressure. The pressure has already risen significantly, and I am not sure how much higher it can go. The character of the air has changed to a much more seasonable style. I guess it is about time.

The N,W.S. correctly forecast the temperature for all but the 08:00 hour period. They had the relative humidity correct for the 17:00
hour points today. This is not as good a job as they did overnight. Once in a while they get them all right. I look for that.
Forecast data for the overnight.
