The Clouds Are Slowly Working Their Way In!

Today N.O.A.A. suggested that we would have no precipitation, and we did not. They also predicted that the cloud cover would increase, and it has. The temperature did make it just a little over sixty here in Wilton, Maine, making it a delightful day to be out and about.
For the overnight, the N.W.S. had a more interesting forecast. They way we will start with no precipitation, which will give way to light scattered showers for the middle of the period and end with rain around 05:00 hours. The cloud cover forecast definitely supports that set of predictions (17%/60%/100%/100%). The NEXRAD composite radar shows a wide swath of rain headed our way, but it does not appear to be very heavy. The Weather Underground model forecast maps seem to indicate some significant, heavy rain overnight, and even into Sunday morning. They see to think we will have a bit of a wild ride. We are already having more wind than we did with the storm at mid-week.
My Weather Stick is again expressionless, although I would have expected a much sadder expression with the humidity where it is at 81%. Maybe it is trying to tell us that the weather will be unsettled. All three of my electronic instruments forecast falling barometric pressure. There is now agreement, however, among them regarding the weather. The Weather Station forecasts partly cloudy conditions. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts foul weather. The remote weather station forecasts fair skies. I think we will see some rain before the night is over, and more to come tomorrow, and at least into tomorrow night and maybe Sunday morning. How is that for going out on a limb?

The N,W.S. correctly forecast the temperature for today. The way they started out with the relative humidity I actually had hope that they might get them right too. Vain hope, because they only had the 08:00 hour forecast point correct. It was just too much to expect them to get all four forecast points for both parameters correct twice in a row. I do not think that has ever happened.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 48°F/44°F/41°F/44°F
Relative Humidity: 59%/75%/85%/98%
