As I suggested we had cumulus clouds blowing through all day on a cool Canadian wind. That wind tended to be out of the West to North at upward of 12 mph, but an average of around 7 mph. There was plenty of sun, but the temperature only managed a little over 49 degrees. Still it was a pretty day with no black flies to bother us outside.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. forecasts no precipitation with a decreasing cloud cover (32%/9%/8%/0%). There is nothing in the area of Wilton, Maine on the NEXRAD regional radar. The Weather Underground model forecast maps also show no foul weather in our immediate vicinity.
My Weather Stick is smiling a little in response to the 59% relative humidity. With that level I would expect a smile like the Red sox Nation after tonight's win over the Rockies. Yes, they did it. My Weather Station is forecasting fair weather with rising barometric pressure. My Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy or unsettled conditions with falling barometric pressure. My remote weather station sees unsettled conditions with rising barometric pressure. I think the sky will clear (it is pretty clear now at 00:52 hours). The temperature will fall below freezing and the wind will remain active. It still should be a good night. This is the first time since April that I have had to disconnect and drain my hose to keep it from freezing. Winter is coming for sure.
