What A Delightful Day.
N.O.A.A. forecast no precipitation, and they had that right. It was a delightful warm day again. The T.V. prognosticators had forecast much colder temperatures, but they did not have that right. The forecast of temperatures in the forties was quite accurate. At least we do not have to shovel this type of weather.
For the overnight we can expect no precipitation according to the N.W.S. That is in keeping with decreasing cloud cover (24%/19%/14%/08%). There is nothing showing on the NEXRAD composite regional radar. The Weather Underground still shows our area around Wilton, Maine clear and free of storms. According to them as well we are looking at a snowstorm starting between noon and 15:00 on Monday, and that ending around 15:00 hours on Tuesday. The T.V. prognosticators, as well as the N.W.S. are calling for that storm to start sometime early tomorrow morning (around midnight) and end sometime Tuesday.
My Weather Stick is frowning just a little and with 73% relative humidity that is no surprise. The three electronic instruments are calling for rising barometric pressure, and that has gone up during the day. Two of them call for fair skies while the remote weather station sees unsettled weather. We had high temperatures of 43.3°F, 39.4°F and 41.7°F on the same electronic instruments. I think we will have a pleasant night with temperatures dropping into the twenties, very little
cloudiness and some light winds. Now all we need to do is wait for the next weather pattern to fall into place, and fall is the operative word, because it will fall in the form of snow again.

The N.W.S. Missed the 10:00 hour temperature reading by more than 6°F. The missed the relative humidity readings from 10:00 hours on today. It was simply more humid than they predicted it would be.
