Another Beautiful Day.

N.O.A.A. had this one correct for the predominant weather, since we only had a few cirrus clouds during the afternoon, and no precipitation. The sky remained nearly clear making their cloud cover forecast correct as well. It was a very good day to do all kinds of things outside, and I did get some done. Not as many as I would like to have, but something is better than nothing.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation, but the cloud cover is expected to increase somewhat (8%/21%/29%/26%). This should not be very heavy cloud cover. There is nothing showing up on the NEXRAD regional composite radar. The Weather Underground model forecast maps are still calling for a decent day tomorrow.
My Weather Stick is still smiling, but with 42% relative humidity who can blame it. My electronic instruments seem to be a bit confused. All three of them are calling for foul weather with falling barometric pressure. That pressure has fallen a bit, but I still do not see any clouds moving into the area. It still looks pretty good out there. My guess is that the system that is currently moving through has lower pressure than the one we just had move through, and that is confusing the instruments. I still think we will have a decent night, and a good day tomorrow. I cannot go beyond that, but even then I could be wrong. I can say that our temperature did rise above freezing (39.7°F/35.8°F/39.4°F).

The N.W.S. had all but the 16:00 hour temperature forecast correct. They had all four of the relative humidity forecasts correct.
This was a good job on their part. Congratulations to them.
