For the overnight we may have had some light snow showers, but they did not add anything to the total amount of snow on the ground. Based on the temperature the clouds did not move out until after 04:00 hours this morning. It was after that the temperature fell to the very low teens. The sky this morning is clear and the temperature has not rebounded despite the sunshine. The wind is not making it feel any warmer at all despite the mixing of the air.
For today the N.W.S. is still forecasting light scattered snow showers for Wilton, Maine. With no clouds I do not see that happening. The N.W.S. has forecast 58%, 44%, 30% and 36% cloud cover, but I just do not see that. The NEXRAD composite regional radar is devoid of echoes with the exception of some lake effect snow in New York and a little bit of the same stuff off the coast at Portland Maine. The Weather Underground model forecast maps do not show any storms for at least another day and maybe two.
My Weather Stick is smiling a little at the 51% relative humidity. Finally! All three of my electronic instruments see the barometer rising. Two of them see unsettled conditions while the remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions today. The recorded low temperatures were 10.9°F, 11.3°F and 19.2°F, the latter in the barn. This spring I hope to move my station so the anemometer is above the roof of the house and the thermo/hygro unit is next to the Min/Max Thermometer, and there will be no solar heating. I do not think we will see any snow showers here, and I say again that is a good thing. Right now we do not need more snow. It is time for a little rest.

For the overnight the N.W.S. had all four temperature forecasts within the set limits. The only relative humidity forecast they missed was at 01:00 hours this morning, and that was only 1% outside the +/-10% limit for that parameter. That was not a bad result.
