It Looks Like A Little More Snow
The N.O.A.A. prediction was for no precipitation overnight, but the sky was expected to cloud over. Well, that is exactly what happened. Temperatures have yet to moderate, despite the prediction. It does look like a storm system is moving into the area of Wilton, Maine.
For today the N.W.S. predicts snow all day, but it has not started yet. The cloud cover is expected to be quite high (96%/94%/95%/100%) which would support snow today. Most of the prognosticators are calling for just a couple of inches for our area, and I suspect that may be right.
My Weather Stick is expressionless with 70% relative humidity, but I suspect it has just not caught up with the relative humidity. Two of the electronic instruments see the barometric pressure falling while the remote weather station sees it as steady. The La Crosse Weather Station forecasts unsettled conditions, the Min/Max Thermometer says foul weather and the remote weather station sees unsettled conditions. I think we will see snow before the end of the day. Oh, the low temperatures were -5.2°F. -1.8°F and 5.9°F.

Comparative data for the overnight.

For the overnight the N.W.S. missed the last two forecast temperatures, but they had all four of the relative humidity forecasts correct. It got a good bit colder than they expected, probably because the clouds did not move in as quickly as they thought they would.
Forecast data for today.
Temperature: 03°F/13°F/22°F/23°F.
