It Is As Cold This Morning As It Was Yesterday!

Overnight we did not have any precipitation as N.O.A.A. predicted. Wilton was spared any additional snow for that period. We did not get quite as cold overnight, but the temperature reading at 04:00 hours was almost the same as it was yesterday morning. It did get about 9 degrees colder during the night on the twenty-third.
For today the N.W.S. forecasts light scattered snow showers through mid-afternoon and then no precipitation. Looking at the NEXRAD regional composite radar I am not sure where that snow is supposed to come from. Other than the usual lake effect snow I do not see any echoes in the area that would produce that precipitation. There is nothing showing up on the Weather Underground model forecast maps either. The cold frontal boundary does show up, and it is moving our way, but it does not look like there is any precipitation associated with it. I guess we will just have to wait and see what unfolds for us.
My Weather Stick is smiling just a little in response to the 64% relative humidity. All three of my electronic instruments forecast rising barometric pressure. Two of them forecast fair skies while the remote weather station sees cloudy skies. I still think that one is just a little slow to react to the change in barometric pressure. Currently the skies are overcast with stratus clouds. With that in mind, and the cold front moving our way there is a possibility of some light scattered snow showers during the day today, but that is just a slight possibility in my opinion.

Comparative data for the overnight.
Temperature:21°F/20.4°F//16°F/14.1°F//13°F/14.5°F//10°F/11.8°F
Relative Humidity: 56%/55%//70%/61%//70%/60%//76%/62%

For the overnight the N.W.S. forecast the temperature correctly at all four points. They did miss the 04:00 hour relative humidity forecast by more than 10%. Still, that was not a bad job of prognostication. Pretty well done!
Forecast data for today.
Temperature: 08°F/14°F/19°F/20°F.
Relative Humidity: 76%/58%/47%/43%
