The Clouds Have Broken And The Sun Came Out!

For today N.O.A.A. had it just about right. We had rain throughout the day, and at just about 16:30 hours the clouds broke and we could see a little bit of blue sky and sunshine. When I went to get my grain we had quite a downpour, and I left my raincoat at home. Oh well, I dried. At least Ike enjoyed the ride. The best thing about this is the temperature. It stayed above freezing until the storm was over.
The N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation overnight. The cloud cover is supposed to increase just a little bit (24%/29%/34%/34%) throughout the overnight hours. The NEXRAD regional composite radar is only showing the usual lake effect snow well west of us. Those snows never affect us, and are a local phenomenon. The Weather Underground maps do not seem to be working this evening, but from what I saw this morning we should have a nice night (cold but nice) and a pretty good day tomorrow. We will not talk about Friday which may be very like today, soggy.
My Weather Stick is slowly rising, and right now it is expressionless despite the 53 % relative humidity. There is no agreement among my electronic instruments. The La Crosse Weather Station says it will be fair with a rising barometer. The Min/Max is calling for unsettled weather with rising barometric pressure also. The remote weather station calls for foul weather with falling barometric pressure. I think we will see the clouds clear away and the wind slowly fall to calm. I do not think we will have any more precipitation out of this system. The temperature will fall significantly as well. By morning the roads should be dry. High temperatures were recorded as follows 41.1°F/40.0°F/39.6°F.
High Temperature (°F): 41.1
Current Temperature (°F): 23.1
Relative Humidity (%): 53%
Dew Point (°F): 8.5
Barometric Pressure (in Hg): 29.92
Heat Index (°F): N/A
Wind Direction: West Northwest
Wind Speed (mph): 10.0
Wind-Chill (°F): 7.4
Precipitation (Type): Rain
Amount (Inches): 0.18
Cloud Cover (PM): Mostly Cloudy
Cloud Type: Cumulus
Weather Stick: Straight
Comparative data for today.
Temperature:36°F/32.3°F//37°F/35.4°F//39°F/40.4°F//34°F/38.4°F
Relative Humidity: 85%/87%//89%/89%//92%/90%//72%/87%

The N.W.S. forecast the temperatures correctly for all four forecast points today. They only missed the 16:00 hour forecast of the relative humidity. This was a very good job of prognostication by the N.W.S.
Forecast data for the overnight.
Temperature: 31°F/24°F/19°F/15°F.
Relative Humidity: 61%/65%/64%/73%
