All Things Considered A Very Nice Day!
N.O.A.A. predicted a day without precipitation and relatively low cloud cover. As predicted we had no precipitation and until around 16:00 hours the sky was clear. At that point the clouds did begin to move in with some high thin cirrus clouds making the sky partly cloudy. The relative humidity was quite low as well making it feel a bit colder than it really was.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation again. The clouds are being predicted to increase slowly (13%/26%/39%/42%). All this in preparation for another storm system. This one may be a bit more difficult to deal with. Right now there is nothing showing up on the NEXRAD regional composite radar. The Weather Underground model forecast maps show this system (and it is a bog one) moving into Wilton, Maine tomorrow afternoon as snow, and that snow turning to sleet and freezing rain for the evening commute. This is not expected to be a pretty storm.
With 40% relative humidity my Weather Stick is smiling broadly. It is the first time in a long while I have seen that broad a smile there. All three of my electronic instruments forecast fair skies and rising barometric pressure overnight. Our high temperatures were 30.9°F, 28.6°F and 32.4°F. The only place it got above freezing was in the barn. There just is not much more to say about this. We will have a period of dark followed by some light before we get into this next storm system.

The N.W.S. forecast the temperatures correctly for all four forecast points today. They did equally well with the relative humidity. With all eight points forecast correctly they did an excellent job today.
