Can You Stand Another 3"-Now 109" Total.

It is now snowing so hard that I cannot see 300' down the road. It looks like N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather right today. It did stop briefly around noontime, and I was able to blow the snow off the driveways. Of course just a short time after I finished that job it started to snow again. In the last couple hours we have had another 3" of the white stuff. Currently there is less than 18" before the snow reaches the top of the snow gauge. Oh, it should be interesting when the snow is higher than my weather station sending unit, and it is getting close to that as well. I wonder if it will take me off line for my weather data.
The N.W.S. currently forecasts continued snow for the first half of the overnight with light scattered snow showers for the rest of it. The cloud cover supports that forecast (94%/88%/81%/89%). Well, all the snowflakes are light, it is just when they gang up on us, as they are now doing, that they become a problem. The NEXRAD regional composite radar shows some breaks in the action, but there seems to be more in store for us as the arctic cold moves in. That means that what is on the ground is not going anywhere anytime soon. The Weather Underground model forecast maps are also indicating that this system will end sometime overnight, I am just not sure when.
My Weather Stick is frowning at the 88% relative humidity, and that is once again no surprise. All three of my electronic instruments forecast falling barometric pressure. The La Crosse Weather Station still has a storm alert forecast, while the other two forecast foul weather. They recorded high temperatures of 31.1°F, 30.6°F and 29.1°F for today. One more day that we did not rise above the freezing mark. We are probably going to see snow for most of the overnight with a few breaks in the action. There is no telling how much we will get before it is all over. I will not hazard a guess.

The N.W.S. forecast the temperature within limits for the first three of the periods today. They missed the last three periods of the relative humidity. That is probably due to the storm system that we have been dealing with throughout the day.
Forecast data for the overnight. .
Temperature: 23°F/20°F/17°F/14°F.
Relative Humidity: 59%/62%/61%/61%
