N.O.A.A. appears to have gotten the predominant weather forecast correctly. We had plenty of wind, but with the warmer temperatures it was not very bad outside. Footing was a problem because of the ice that formed on the driveways, walks and roads, but with the proper footwear it was manageable.
The N.W.S. forecasts light scattered snow showers early with no precipitation after 22:00 hours. Their estimate of the cloud cover supports that theory (55%/39%/22%/15%). There are no storms showing up on the NEXRAD regional composite radar. The
Weather Underground model forecast maps do not indicate any problems until late Sunday evening or Monday morning's
My Weather Stick is expressionless due to the 67% relative humidity. All three of the electronic instruments are forecasting rising barometric pressure. Two of them indicate fair skies while the remote weather station forecasts unsettled weather. I will go one step further and call for it to be blustery as well since we are having quite a bit of wind out there. In fact it is making the house colder due to the drafts blowing through. I think the temperature will fall like a stone in a pool due to the clear skies we have outside right now. It is already down to 11.4°F in less than 45 minutes.

How quickly they go back to their old habits. The N.W.S. had the temperature forecast correctly at all four points during the day. However, they only had the 07:00 hour forecast within 10% of the actual relative humidity reading. Not as good as the overnight, but still not a total loss.
