N.O.A.A. forecast no precipitation today, and they had that right. Also, the cloud cover remained almost non-existent. It was a beautiful day, just not one that I was very excited about going out to play.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation, but with a slight increase in the cloud cover (6%/14%/33%/40%) that I do not believer will make any difference in the radiational cooling. The NEXRAD regional composite radar is totally devoid of echoes representing precipitation. The Weather Underground model forecast maps do indicate that we will have another decent day tomorrow, but during the overnight we can probably expect some snow and/or rain to begin and last throughout the day on Monday. Welcome back to the workweek.
My Weather Stick is smirking just a little at the 65% relative humidity. That is the same as the humidity this morning, but the stick has caught up with the percentage of moisture in the air, or maybe there is just a little less at the barn door than in the field. All three of the electronic instruments forecast rising barometric pressure. Two of them forecast fair skies overnight while the remote weather station forecasts unsettled conditions. I think that there may be a few high level clouds moving in presaging the next storm system. That system probably will not show up on the NEXRAD radar until tomorrow afternoon, and it is proposed to be a doozy. We may have some real problems with this one.

The N.W.S. had all four forecast temperatures correct today. The only relative humidity forecast that agreed with the actual recorded data was at 07:00 hours. They did not do as well with today's forecast as they did with last night’s. At least they had the temperature forecast correctly.
