The March Wind Came Back To Blow The Fog Away!
Overnight we did have a bit more rain (as N.O.A.A. suggested) winding up with 0.08" for the month to date. The wind did pick up significantly, and that moved both the fog and the rain off to our east. It appears that we have some high pressure that has moved into our area. The temperature and the relative humidity have both fallen since I started writing this earlier, and the barometric pressure has risen.
For today the N.W.S. forecast no precipitation with the cloud cover decreasing through the day (32%/25%/17%/10%). The NEXRAD regional composite radar has cleared, and there is nothing more on our immediate horizon with the Weather Underground model forecast maps. It looks like we may have another weekend storm though, but this may be just a little mix with the bulk of it being rain.
My Weather Stick was only frowning a little when I started this report responding to the 59% relative humidity. Two of my electronic instruments indicate unsettled weather with rising barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions with rising barometric pressure as well. Looking out my window I see very little in the way of clouds, but the wind does continue blow. That should keep things interesting. Right now I would not want to bet on the temperature getting out of the thirties as N.O.A.A. has predicted. At least there has been some reduction in the snowpack. We are now down to about 14" on the ground.

The N.W.S. missed two of the four forecast temperatures. They were right, wrong, right and wrong. They forecast the 02:00 and
05:00 relative humidity correctly. This was better than the last couple of outings.
