What? A Dreadful, Dismal Friday!

For the area around Wilton, Maine N.O.A.A. forecast scattered light mixed precipitation early changing to rain for the rest of the day. I did not see any rain, but I did see between 2" and 3'" of snow during the day. Offhand I would say they missed this one. Much of the snow melted as it cam down making the roads a bit treacherous with the slush. It did remain cloudy all day making the daylight hours more dismal. That pattern still does not appear to be broken.
For the overnight the N.W.S. calls for rain followed by scattered light mixed precipitation, ending with snow for the second half of the period. All this, as the temperatures flirts with the freezing mark. The NEXRAD regional composite radar indicates that we will have a bit of a break before the rest of the precipitation comes through. The Weather Underground model forecast maps still call for all this mess to end somewhere around noon tomorrow. Hey, it is the weekend, and we seem to be doomed to have some sort of storm every weekend.
My Weather Stick continues to frown at the 88% relative humidity. All three of my electronic instruments finally agree that we are going to have foul weather with falling barometric pressure. Our high temperatures were 40.6°F, 123°F (ha-ha), and 39.6. There was no reason for the Min/Max Thermometer to record 123°F, but that is what it did. Talk about global warming. I would guess it hiccoughed. We did not run the dryer yesterday, so I have no explanation for the error.

Relative Humidity: 58%/69%//58%/53%//66%/76%/59%/84% The N.W.S. only correctly forecast the temperature at 11:00 hours. They missed the others by a significant amount. They missed the relative humidity forecast at both ends of the day by more than 10%. Clearly they did not do a good job this time.
