A Little Rain In The Morning Then Just Dismal!

For today N.O.A.A. forecast light scattered rain showers this morning, but from the look of my rain data we had a significant shower providing over a half inch of rain (probably combined with snow melt). Late this afternoon I did note that the clouds were starting to break up, and there was a little blue sky to be seen. That is the first time that has happened in a couple of days.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation for the first half followed by some fog for the second half. They are not forecasting more than 5*F change in temperature during the period. They have also predicted that the cloud cover will dissipate during the overnight, at least until around 05:00 hours when it is expected to increase again (66%/44%/37%/61%). This is a strange forecast to be sure. There are no echoes on the NEXRAD regional composite radar, and the Weather Underground model forecast maps indicate a nice day for tomorrow. At least they do not predict a storm system for our area.
My Weather Stick responding to the 77% relative humidity is frowning just a little bit. All three of my electronic instruments call for the barometric pressure to rise. Two of them forecast fair weather, while the remote weather station sees unsettled weather in our future. The recorded high temperatures were 47.1°F, 49.9°F and 42.3°F. Outside the barn we are getting close to 50°F, and that will help to remove the snow. I am not sure if we will see the fog tomorrow morning, but that is the forecast. In any event I do not think we will have any additional precipitation overnight, and that will be a good thing.

Relative Humidity: 81%/89%//57%/81%//51%/73%//49%/67% The N.W.S. forecast the temperature correctly at all four times. They did not do as well with the relative humidity. The only forecast they got correct was at 08:00 hours. The rest they missed by more than 10%.
