N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather forecast correctly. We did not have any precipitation and there were not many clouds around all day. With the temperature in the low seventies, this was a great day. My lawn is now screaming to be mowed. This must happen before the end of this week. The next major task is to clean the barn, now that everything is thawed out.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation and very low cloud cover (0%/0%/10%/0%). They also predict that the temperature will drop into the upper thirties. That is still quite cool in the morning. The NEXRAD regional composite radar shows only some ground clutter around Portland and the other major urban centers in the region. The storm currently moving in our direction for Thursday still looks like it will break up before it gets here, leaving us with only a slight chance for a light scattered shower then. Saturday may be a different story.
My Weather Stick is really smiling tonight due to the 58% relative humidity. Two of my electronic instruments currently forecast fair skies with rising barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts unsettled weather with falling barometric pressure. Our high temperatures were 72.1°F, 69.0°F and 63.0°F. It did feel cooler in the barn than it did outside. I think the stretch of nice weather will continue for a while yet, but now we need to worry about fire danger. Oh wee, it is always something.

The N.W.S. had the temperature forecast right, wrong, right and wrong today. They were within 10% of the recorded relative humidity at this location. So, this was not one of their worst prognostications. They have done better though.
