It took longer to get the errands run than I though it would. The N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather forecast right, and we had a beautiful day to work outside. I was able to get out and till the garden, both between the rows of plants coming up and the area that has not yet been planted. Early tomorrow morning I should be able to get the tomatoes, potatoes, beans and beets in the ground. Then, with a bit of luck I should be able to get the lawn done. All this in preparation for the next round of inclement weather.
For the overnight the N.W.S. forecasts no precipitation for the predominant weather. They also expect some clouds to begin moving in during the overnight (9%/15%/22%/31%). The NEXRAD regional composite radar is calling for the rain to move slowly in our direction, and it is now showing up in western New York Stat. The Weather Underground model forecast maps call for the rain to start in our area sometime after midnight tomorrow night. That should give us one more good day tomorrow. We can still live in hope!
My Weather Stick is as you see it below thanks to some lower relative humidity and warmer temperatures.
57% Relative Humidity/66.5°F
Even with my remote weather station in the carriage house I am able to get some data from it. The La Crosse Weather station currently calls for unsettled conditions with falling barometric pressure. The other two call for fair skies with rising barometric pressure. They did record the following high temperatures for today (78.9°F/80.5°F/72.5°F). I hope to get my garden finished tomorrow. Oh, by the way the runt of the flock died this afternoon. That still leaves me with 11 meat birds to grow, and they are growing well.

The N.W.S. had the temperature forecast correctly today. They did not do quite as well with the relative humidity levels. Therefore they get demerits for their forecasts today.
