The Rain Has Started, But There Has Not Yet Been Enough To Record!!

There was rain in the N.O.A.A. forecast overnight, but apparently that did not happen. The precipitation had just started when I took Ike out at about 06:00 hours, and that is where the data is from that I am reporting this morning.

This Really Was A Great Day. The Wood Is Cut To Length!!

The N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather forecast right. We had no rain, although, as they suggested we did have some clouds move in late this afternoon. Ike and I spent the afternoon at the woodpile. It was warm enough that I could get away with a long sleeved T-shirt.

This Is The Start Of Another Fine Day!!

Once again the N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather correct for the overnight. We had no rain, but it did turn off cold, as I suggested it might last night. Our low temperature reached into the mid-twenties, so we now need to start the count over to the raising of the window quilts.

This Was Another Great Day To Get Outside And Get Going On The Wood!!

This Was Another Great Day To Get Outside And Get Going On The Wood!! The N.O.A.A. had the predominant forecast right again today. We had some clouds, but it just kept things from getting too hot.

We Got Very Close To The Freezing Mark Overnight. Close, But No Cigar!!

The N.O.A.A. forecast for the overnight was close, but missed on the light scattered showers for our area. When I got outside this morning with Ike the sky was devoid of clouds, and the temperature was already into the forties.

It Was Cloudy For Most Of The Day, But Now The Clouds Seem To Have Broken.

The N.O.A.A. forecast for the predominant weather appears to have been on the mark. Cloudy skies were in evidence as I went to a meeting in Waterville this afternoon. We did not have any rain either here or there during the day. The clouds did seem to disperse during the late afternoon.

No Showers Here, And The Temperature Did Not Fall Below Freezing--WooHoo!!

Overnight the N.O.A.A. had the predominant weather about right. We did not have any showers at this location in Wilton, Maine, but others may have had a light shower during the overnight. For the first time since last year, I think, we did not fall below freezing overnight.

While Not As Good As Yesterday, Still A Great Day For Anything!!

The N.O.A.A. forecast of no rain was on the money. There was not much wind this morning, but when I went out fishing this afternoon it certainly did pick up. I have seen gusts as high as 11 mph. There were clouds, but they were of the high thin cirrus variety, and it did get warm.

We Had A Quiet Night With Temperatures Below Freezing Again!

The N.O.A.A. had the predominant forecast correct once again. We had no rain, and the temperature did fall below freezing as well. I did sleep in this morning and by the time Ike and I got outside the sun was up and shining brightly. There was an increase in the cloud cover, just as the N.O.A.A.

This Was A 12 On A Scale Of 10!!!

This Was A 12 On A Scale Of 10!!! This was the kind of day we dream about all winter. The N.O.A.A. forecast had it right, but it does not matter. It was gorgeous. The sun was bright, there were no clouds and the wind just did not interfere with any of it.
